Past Events

We always have a lovely time at our Carer's Events, and have enjoyed a range of different activities including an Introduction to Bowls at Cowbridge Bowls Club, days out at St Fagans National Museum of History and The National Botanic Garden of Wales, Relaxation and Stress Management sessions with Dr Terry Stuart, Games and Jigsaws afternoons, a drum circle, craft sessions, a pub lunch, and afternoon tea. Back in February this year we were delighted to be able to take our carers and the people they care for on a short break to Holme Lacy House in Herefordshire, where they got to take part in lots of different activities, enjoy lovely food and evening entertainment, and have a very well-earned rest and treat. It was such a special weekend that was very much enjoyed by all!

This weekend and our other recent events were supported by Cardiff Third Sector Council, through the unpaid carers short breaks Small Grant Fund 2025/26, in partnership with Cardiff and Vale Regional Partnership Board and GVS.
