Y Galon Official Launch

On Saturday 11th July 2026 we held our Y Galon official launch event!

A huge thank you to everyone who came and celebrated with us - the crowd included lots of our members, representatives from local Dementia Friendly organisations, the police, Deputy Mayor and Mayoress Charles and Julia Champion, Kanishka Narayan MP, and Mayor Malcolm Wilson who was kind enough to cut the ribbon and officially declare us OPEN! Diolch yn fawr too to our group member Frank and Dr Terry Stuart, one of our Board of Directors, for their wonderful speeches. We were delighted to see so many people there and hope you all enjoyed the afternoon as much as we did.
